Background
Majority of the worlds chrome sand is utilised in the production of ferrochrome which is mainly produced in South Africa. The Ferrochrome is mainly used in the production of stainless steel around the world. Chrome Sand is also utilised by the foundries for their steel castings which can be used as moulding sand or a core sand.
